Personal and professional disagreements do not always have to go straight to litigation.   In many cases, people would prefer to resolve a dispute amicably, especially when the dispute is with a person or business that they will have an ongoing relationship with.  That’s where we come in.  Acting as a neutral, we work with you to facilitate fair and equitable resolutions of your legal disputes. 

Hoping to avoid litigation?

Litigating disputes is costly and time consuming, and often, neither party gets what they really want.  Even more often, both parties are left with an irrevocably damaged relationship.  Our services are ideal for people hoping to avoid litigation.  We work with people that voluntarily seek alternative dispute resolution and people ordered by a court to try it as an alternative to litigation.  In either case, our goal is to help you craft an agreement that will work and that will keep you out of costly litigation. 

How does it work?

We provide mediation and arbitration services, as well as focus groups and mock trials to facilitate settlement of disputes without litigation.   Some people are court-ordered to try one of these methods, usually mediation, and some people are contractually bound to use one of these methods, usually arbitration, to resolve their disputes.  Focus groups and mock trials are voluntary exercises that allow disputing parties to get an idea of what issues are important and how a jury might decide the case.
